Hawaii is prepared for a missile attack from North Korea - should the rest of the USA follow suit?
This new preparedness campaign includes public service announcements, school drills, and attack sirens which are similar to the "duck and cover" announcements in the 1950's that saw Russia as a threat to world peace.
Additionally, the North Korean ruler has stated that his recent missile launch over a core Japanese Island was a prelude to "containing Guam". Japan did not attempt to shoot down the missile, but also issued safety warnings (to Hokkaido, Aomori, Iwate, Miyagi, Akita, Yamagata, Fukushima, Ibaraki, Tochigi, Gunma, Niigata and Nagano) that residents should take shelter in a “sturdy building or basement”.
Knowing the instability of North Korea's ruler, as well as the direct line of fine could have the Hawaiian Islands as first choice as a target for aggression, it seems reasonable that Hawaii would go forward with these potentially life saving actions.
Do you think the mainland USA should do the same? Do you think that North Korea would willingly start World War III, or is this mere saber rattling?
Whether or not this would happen, or any other aggressive act from any other hostile Foreign country, how prepared ARE WE for such an event? Do YOU have the emergency food items, power supplies, emergency medical kits and survival items for your family members and pets? If grocery stores and gas stations were shut down by the government for weeks at a time, could you survive? That's the purpose of this website. We've got what you need in this worst-case scenario.
